Welcome to Clarky's Knits
Whilst on holiday in the summer of 2019, we visited a craft shop in the village of Beccles, Suffolk , run by the most delightful ladies, where I was totally mesmerised by all the balls of wool!

Having not knitted since I was a teenager I bought a couple of balls and by the end of the day had knitted a scarf. I returned to the shop the following day - wearing said scarf (even though it was the height of summer) and bought more wool.

I returned the next day.....and the next day...... and the day after that, at which point the ladies thanked me for making their takings look so good that week!

And I haven't put my knitting needles down since!

I began with knitting scarves for friends and dog jumpers for our two small dogs who need something to keep them warm on a winters walk!
And it has progressed from there into 'Clarky's Knits'. Helen xx
